Late Winter Chill

We got snow. . . AGAIN! If I lived in New York and didn't have to deal with the anxiety of driving in snowy weather, I think I could fully enjoy the pretty, white crystals. The flakes are clean, glittery and when they pile up, they look like luminous sheets of fluff. Although trekking through the snow is cold, it brings a little sparkle that makes me feel like a kid again, almost to the point where I forget how freezing I am. . . almost. I didn't grow up in a place where it snows, and it's a rare occurrence that it snows here too, which is why its magic hasn't disappeared. I can only pray that 10, 20, 30 years from now, snow will leave me believing that there is magic in the world.
