Green Tea Facial Ice Cubes

As I scanned Pinterest the other day for beauty tips for work, I discovered the beauty benefits of an "ice facial." It's a simple do-it-yourself facial that requires massaging an ice cube over your face for 2-3 minutes. You can learn a little about the benefits here.

I wanted to freeze green tea instead of water for an anti aging and healing boost. The process is as simple as expected: boil water and steep green tea bags (i used two) in a mug of water for 3-5 minutes. Then pour the liquid into an ice cube tray and freeze.

I use them nightly, after I wash my face and about 20 minutes before I moisturize. I love adding this step to my routine, and I'm sure I'll be especially grateful for it come summer. Next time I will try honey or vitamin E for added moisture.

*Make sure to wrap your ice cube in a soft cloth to prevent any irritation.
