Do you ever crave almond croissants? Well the other day I HAD to eat something almond flavored.
At the time, almond croissants seemed like too much effort, so I figured an almond torte would curb my need, at least until I could get my hands on a warm, almond paste filled croissant.
I used this simple, no-fuss recipe from Your Homebased Mom. The only adjustment I made was sprinkling some powdered sugar on top of the almonds. Mine was a little too done, so I'd also recommend taking out a little before the recommended time. Enjoy with fresh berries and your morning cup of coffee!
