Comfort Zone

Every so often it's healthy to purposely put ourselves into uncomfortable, unfamiliar situations. That's probably why we've created so many quotes that hint at that. Just take a look on Pinterest.

Sometimes we don't even get the choice; we just find ourselves thrown out of our comfort zone. Graduating college being a perfect example. My friend Sarah and I were down at the beach the other day talking about applying for jobs, handling rejection, and the unknowns of post-college life. I'm already in it, while she is in her final months and stressing about it. The truth is that it is inevitable if you want to graduate, but the uncertainty is apart of the process. If you're entirely comfortable being an unemployed college graduate, what pushes us to grow and succeed? Stepping into your first pair of heels is a new, uncomfortable feeling, but then you realize that they're magical.

  1. I completely agree with you - if we don't step out of our 'bubble' - we'll always be in the same place we were before, and never grow as people! You look stunning by the way, love the necklace especially! <3

  2. My favorite reminder is; everything great happens outside your comfort zone - this doesn't always add up, but it does push to get out of your comfort zone. Lovely outfit, the necklace is so so pretty and those heels are such a pretty color :)
