This month's theme is "Walk it Out." I've had a lot going on lately, and I haven't walked for a workout all month. Whenever I babysit, I usually take the kids on walks, but it's not the same momentum or duration. Sometimes walking with the kids defeats the de-stressing effect of he walk too.

I'm always so lazy when I get home from work, but instead of my normal routine of showering, eating and then reading until bed, I'm going to change into walking clothes immediately when I get home. Maybe I'll get my mom back on board with 6 a.m. walks again too. My goal is to walk 5 days a week, and I hope to update you weekly! If I have extra time, I'd love to sneak in some yoga too. It all starts today!

April Project Wrap-Up
For my April Project I wanted to be more aware of my water consumption. Although I wasn't hugely successful (I drank a fair amount of water to begin with), I did drink more water daily. I refilled my water bottle up every day at work, I always had water by my bed (and drank it), and I made sure to keep it with me around my house or anyone else's house. I noticed I didn't drink as much alcohol this month because I chose water over it. On the rare occasion I did drink, I always made sure to have water around too. It was a simple goal, and one that I hope will be easy to continue.

  1. I'd like to drink more water too. I find it's easy when I'm at home, but when I'm out running errands it's more difficult. Great post!

  4. I should follow your April project too. I drink so little water and I know it's really bad, but I'm trying.
    Also started, actually restarted after months on lazy mode, not walking but going to the gym and I'm very determined to continue! :)
