I don't know why, but my feet blister very easily (tmi?). So it goes without saying that breaking in shoes is no fun for me.When Alex was in town over Memorial Day Weekend, I wore a new pair of nude sandals that left a gnarly blister on the top of my foot. I powered through the pain longer than I should have because the outfit didn't look the same without the shoes. So when I finally took them off, I wasn't surprised by the result.
The nude pumps here were the first pair of heels I put on after the break in incident. They're also new, and although they didn't irritate the existing blister any further, they started to produce a new blister on the back of my heel. Luckily, I learned my lesson and removed them at the first sign of friction. Breaking in shoes is not an easy feat for me, but they say beauty is pain. . .
P.S. My foot is still recovering!
