I love making friends who feel the same way about books as I do. Recently, I've made a few of these friends, and my book recommendations are at an all time high. I keep a list on my phone that is continuously building; I can't seem to get through it. Though I can't say I mind.
Lately I've been checking out lighter books in preparation of the hot summer months and hours of reading on the beach. For vacation season, I prefer books that I can put down for days or be slightly distracted from without feeling as if I missed an important detail. I've already started reading The Vacationers, and I was a major fan of Crazy Rich Asians, the prequel to China Rich Girlfriend. My mom spent her nights cracking up to the stories inside I was Told There'd Be Cake, so if you like comedy, start there. Lastly, My book-loving coworker said Station Eleven was the best book she read last year, and I take her book recommendation very seriously. So which one will you start with, one of these or another? Feel free to send book recommendations my way!
