The weather here has been hot and muggy for a couple of months now, and my skin is not a fan. As weird as it sounds, I cannot wait for the cool, dry winter months. Because of the endless summer heat my skin has been rebelling, and trying new products has been tough. I never know when a new beauty product is going to make my skin freak out under regular circumstances, but in this weather it's nearly impossible to find something that agrees with my skin. Fortunately these products have rescued my dry, irritated skin.
I love the glow this gives me, especially in photos! It's so pretty and just the right amount of color. I apply the highlighter first to my upper cheek bone and below my eyebrows, then apply the blush side after or a different bronzer depending on what look I'm going for that day. I'll admit I was worried about this one making me break out but was so happy it didn't
I've never really stuck with concealer because the skin underneath my eyes is pretty dry and appears flakey after I apply it. Although it's still a little flakey underneath with this, it's not nearly as bad and works perfectly with a little bit of lotion. I also love that it has collagen and vitamins.
Nothing has worked for the eczema on my face as well as Dr. Jart ceramidin products. I first tried the regular Ceramidin Cream and loved it, but then I decided to try the tint for a little extra coverage. It seems my skin's flakiness is a little unavoidable because of the eczema (I can either fight the dryness or fight acne, I can't have both), but this product hides it best and my skin looks better after using it.
I don't use this all over my face because I'm afraid of breaking out, but I do use it under my eyes and on flakey patches. It's also fantastic for elbows, knees and feet. I usually put it under my eyes before bed because it looks a little oily. It definitely reduces the dryness without clogging my pores.
Have you guys tried any of these? Let me know what you think. I also love getting product recommendations, especially from others with eczema!
